Inès Eshun has Belgian, Estonian, and Ghanaian roots, and she writes as well as directs. She graduated with a master’s degree in film directing from the Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema, and Sound in 2017 with her short film 'The Life of Esteban', which had it's international premiere at Tribeca Film Festival 2018, where it won the Student Visionary Award.
While still in film school, her bachelor exercise 'Bright Lights' was selected for Film Fest Ghent and Ciné Public Festival. Her short 'The Flood' was selected for DIFF, Dhaka International Film Festival. She was one of the three laureates of the prestigious Flemish writing competition 'Babylon’s Interuniversity Prize' with her short story 'Broken Water'.
Inès is currently developing her first feature screenplay.
