Paco spent his childhood on three different continents, living and absorbing unique cultures from Europe, Africa, and America that would shape his view of the world.

With a passion for photography and fine arts, Paco went to Oporto School of Arts at UCP to pursue his dream as a visual artist. Before graduating, Paco was commissioned to direct a short film that would eventfully win a Grand Prix at the European Capital of Culture Festival, "Odyssey of the Images," which was screened at the Cannes International Film Festival.

This sequence of events helped him start his career as a director. His intense passion for building characters, directing comedic performances, and finding the right visual language to support the narrative are part of his unique identity as a director.

He explores and integrates a diverse range of disciplines into his work, but he is best known for his twisted humor and comedy films.

He has collected several awards including two Lions at the Cannes Film Festival in Craft/ Film and the EPICA Gold award.
