Stromae is about to hit the road for the next leg of the “Multitude Tour”, where he will play the biggest European arenas alongside some very special — and non-human — guests. In a behind-the-scenes video produced by CAVIAR and directed by Cyprien Delire, the superstar reveals the secret behind the creation of his upcoming colossal shows: 10 robots. As the artist said in a tweet, “Some artists have dancers on stage, I have robots.”

In the video, Stromae explains how, thanks to the partnership between his creative label Mosaert and the German automation company KUKA, this unique set design was able to take shape. Through the “Leçons de Stromae,” we learn about the genesis of the staging of his new show — a tongue-in-cheek process of trial and error that ultimately leads to an awe-inspiring setup, blending creativity with technology. Delire, who has previously collaborated with Stromae numerous times, brings his signature crafted imagery, rhythmic editing, and subtle sense of humor to the project. The resulting video is surprising, entertaining, and absolutely worth a watch.
