An immersive integrated experience for the new Samsung Galaxy S6, in collaboration with Sid Lee Montreal.

From Data visualization to interactive art

The best Samsung device ever built, it allows its owners to enjoy life to the fullest, documenting it as they live it – all this embraced by the campaign tagline ‘Next is Now’. Both new models, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge were used as high tech batons in this epic relay race around the globe. We captured the journey ‘live’, using the phone’s photo and video capabilities to the limits. Our audience could track the Galaxy’s itinerary via a live timeline that would change constantly. In Dubai, Barcelona and Shenzhen it was handed to key influencers to test and celebrate the incredible new features in surprising and unseen ways. A man with jet wings taking it for a spin, an experiential digital artist and a daredevil skyscraper climber – they all explored aspects such as the revolutionary design, the ‘Fast Charge Function’ and the outstanding photo and video capabilities. We brought all this to life in the shape of  a complex responsive site full of alternate camera views, data visualization and WebGL-based interactive art, working together closely with our live action team to make this a truly unforgettable experience.
