Upon moving to Los Angeles, Jake Szymanski was scooped up by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy to be their in-house director for FunnyOrDie.com. Over the years, he has produced, written and directed hundreds of clips for FOD including some of their biggest hits like “Paris Hilton Responds to McCain”, “Ron Howard’s Call to Action”, “Heidi Montag Says No to Plastic” and “Zac Effron’s Pool Party”.

Known for his comedy feature “Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates” and HBO mockumentaries “7 Days in Hell” and “Tour De Pharmacy”; Jake has directed many high profile TV campaigns working with the likes of Ryan Reynolds for BT, Snoop Dogg for Soda Stream and Usain Bolt for Virgin Media and regularly collaborating with Will Ferrell on hilarious campaigns for the likes of Dodge, General Motors and his latest brilliant spot for Lunar Will Power.

Having just been shortlisted for Best Director at the up and coming Shots Awards The Americas and with his latest all-star line-up Superbowl ad for Uber Eats, is one of the industry’s go to comedy directors and top of creatives’ lists of directors to work with.
