When Marie, an introverted young athlete, collapses and is forced to rest, she decides to move in with her new boyfriend in his flat in Left Bank. Their passionate relationship seems to provide the comfort she needs, until she discovers that the flat’s previous tenant mysteriously disappeared. Marie begins to doubt whether she can really trust her boyfriend, and life in Left Bank, once envisioned as a dream town, becomes an alienating nightmare. Slowly, Marie loses her grip on reality.
