Tucked away in a tiny, nondescript parish hall, the De Pajotters theatre company toils away on their latest amateur production -"Aunt Joe's Basin". Led by enthusiastic playwright and would-be director, Jan Delvo, the troupe's spirited efforts often outweigh their talent. However, not every member is swept up by Jan's quirky charm. It's been forty years since De Pajotters was last selected for the Koninklijk Landjuweel--a competition honoring the country's best amateur theatre troupes--and company president Jos is hellbent on reversing their fortune. Even if it means replacing Jan with professional director, Stanny Krets.
