Pamela Anderson & Debbie Harry To Lead Caviar Feature ‘Maitreya’

Caviar is heading to Cannes with Maitreya, a new comedy starring Pamela Anderson and Debbie Harry.
Directed by Jonathan Krisel and written by Samuel D. Hunter, the film follows Maitreya, a rising figure in the New Age healing world who is preparing to travel to a conference in India when she learns that her estranged father is dying. Instead of staying behind, she brings her family, including her mother Barbara, played by Harry, on the trip while quietly gathering material for her next book.
The film is produced by Caviar’s Bert Hamelinck, Michael Sagol and Allison Hironaka alongside Danica Radovanov. Fortitude International is launching international sales at Cannes, with CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group handling North American rights. Production is scheduled to begin at the end of 2026.
“Being a part of bringing Maitreya to life with Jon and Sam has been so much fun already,” said Michael Sagol, producer and Managing Director at Caviar. “After working together in the branded world for the past decade, having the chance to produce Jon’s first feature film, a soulful exploration of a dysfunctional family perfectly suited to his comedic voice, makes us incredibly excited.”
